CNC Machinist and Equipment Assembler - 1st Shift

$25 - $28 per hour

SummaryThe Machinist / Equipment Assembler machines, assembles, and tests mechanical components and industrial equipment to support production and engineering operations. This role ensures parts and equipment meet quality, safety, and performance standards.Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm plus Fridays 6:00am-12:00pm plus overtime as required

Pay: $25.00-28.00/hr depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines to produce parts to specification.

Assemble mechanical components and equipment using blueprints and BOMs.

Perform basic fabrication, inspection, and measurement of parts.

Test equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.

Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications:High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.

Experience with machining and blueprint reading.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use precision measuring tools.
