Human Resources Specialist

Overview MUST be local - NO relocation and Onsite only This is not a manager role Must have some HR certifications Our client is a nonprofit dedicated to providing care for seniors of all faiths in Broward County and is currently seeking a Human Resources Associate to join their Broward office. The ideal candidate will spend approximately 60% of this position monitoring and following up on compliance-related matters, including CEU renewals, certifications, new and expiring Form 19s, and other regulatory requirements, with a strong Generalist background and comfort in managing compliance processes while also supporting broader HR functions. Responsibilities Assists with recruitment activities, onboarding processes, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements. Provides daily support to caregivers regarding benefits, payroll, HR systems, and employment-related inquiries. Assists as a backup for recruiting, onboarding, and new employee orientation functions. Supports compliance with agency policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications 2+ years of human resources experience preferred. Experience in home health, home care, healthcare, or a regulated environment preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
