A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: /n RN - Cardiac Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts /n• Full-time position /n• Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient care using the nursing process /n• Apply assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n• Consult with staff, physicians and management on nursing problems and hospital policies /n• Maintain clinical competency and continue learning new skills within the department /n• Practice the five rights of medication administration /n• Act as patient advocate and include family in patient care while respecting confidentiality /n• Demonstrate efficient time management skills and encourage teamwork /n• Participate in hospital and department quality activities as required /n• Complete annual department competencies and yearly legal compliance training /n• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills /n• Basic computer knowledge required /n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred /n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred /n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), Verbal CPI (can accept CPI Blue Card) /n• New Mexico RN License required /n• Ability to speak additional languages preferred /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab providing specialized cardiovascular services to patients in the region.
