Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Experience with Sunrise is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Required Credentials: In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score; 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score; 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG exam required; minimum 80% score; 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: 1 PCT scheduled across Med-Surg and Ortho depending on patient census.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Weekend rotation every 3 weeks. Holiday coverage.

Floating Requirements: Staff float between Med-Surg and Ortho, which function as one unit.
