Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Neuro Surgical RN - Night Shift (3x12 Hour) - 13 Weeks Schedule This is a night shift position from 18:45 to 07:15, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Neuro Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing neuro surgical procedures, as well as those with neuro diagnoses. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver nursing care to patients on the neuro surgical unit with ratios of 1:5-6. Administer medications and perform assessments based on patient needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Participate in emergency situations and be prepared to respond during catastrophic events. Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a neuro surgical or acute care setting. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, compact licenses accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required; CPI is preferred. Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
