Ideally, our Paint & Body Technician goes the extra mile to get customers back out camping, whether that means putting in extended hours or stepping in on a Saturday to meet deadlines.What You'll DoPerform body repairs on RV and marine units, including collision damage repair and full repaintsComplete fiberglass repair and restoration workPrepare surfaces by sanding, masking, priming, and refinishingMix and match paint to ensure accurate color matching and a high-quality finishFabricate support structures using aluminum and steel when neededInstall decals with precision and attention to detailWrite estimates for insurance, warranty, and customer-paid repairsKeep the paint booth, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in proper working conditionCommunicate effectively with the shop foreman, dispatcher, service advisor, and team membersStay current with factory technical bulletins, repair procedures, and industry standardsFollow all safety procedures and comply with federal, state, and local regulationsAssist with other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForExperience in paint and bodywork required, preferably in the RV, marine, or automotive industryStrong fiberglass repair skillsKnowledge of paint applications, prep work, and refinishing techniquesAbility to mix, match, and apply paint with a high level of accuracyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and safety-focusedValid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving recordPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularlyAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periodsManual dexterity and fine motor skills for detailed painting and repair workAbility to work around fumes, dust, solvents, and other shop materials, with protective gear providedAbility to operate painting equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment safelyAbility to climb ladders as neededCompensation$29 to $34 per hour flat rateAdditional performance bonus opportunitiesWilling to discuss relocation assistance for the right candidateScheduleMonday through FridayOvertime and Saturdays as needed when have deadlines that need to be metBenefits (eligible full-time team members):Competitive pay and growth opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision plan options401(k) with employer matchOn-site daycareProfit sharingEmployee discountsEmployee borrow program (take a camper and go camping)Holiday pay and time off benefits vary by role and policyDisclosure: This list is not exhaustive.
