RN – OR Circulator Location: Specialty Bakersfield (AHSB) – Day Shift – 4x10's. Must have experience with Vinci robot (General) Mako Robot. Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary. Collaborate with the OR team to prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Assist anesthesia team with patient monitoring and communication during surgery. Adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards consistently. Document intraoperative details accurately in patient records. Identify and manage equipment malfunctions promptly, coordinating with biomedical staff. Demonstrate a growth mindset by pursuing ongoing professional development and certifications. Maintain high visibility of work activity and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Support patient safety initiatives and participate in post-operative debriefs. Support OR scheduling and pipeline metrics to optimize throughput and target achievement. Provide compassionate patient and family communication before, during, and after procedures. Experience & Qualifications Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the applicable state. Current perioperative or operating room circulator certification preferred. Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control standards. Minimum 2 years OR circulator or scrub experience. Ability to monitor patient status and communicate with the anesthesia team. Technical aptitude to identify and escalation equipment malfunctions. Understanding of OR throughput, scheduling, and pipeline metrics. Strong documentation skills for intraoperative records. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and certifications. Excellent patient and family communication with a compassionate bedside manner.
