Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a critical care setting License: Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a compact license. Certifications: - AHA BLS or Red Cross - AHA NIH Must-Have: - 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Description: This position requires working in a critical care environment. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring intensive care. Patient care is focused on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. Nurses should exhibit high levels of professional competency. The unit also provides transition care for patients recovering after surgery. A patient-centered approach to care is essential. The team is committed to ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for patients in a safe and secure environment. Candidates must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area.
