Creative Associate

The Role We’re hiring a Creative Associate to join our in‑house creative team. This is a multi‑disciplinary role for someone who can move fluently between mediums — design, video, motion, photography, web — without losing quality on any of them. You’ll work directly under the Assistant Creative Director and contribute across our creative lanes: brand, site, paid, and organic social. You’ll have your hands on nearly everything we ship — from editing UGC into high‑performing ad cuts, to shooting your own content with iPhones and DSLRs, to designing static ads for Meta, to building motion concepts, to laying out web sections that convert, to producing original posts for our organic social feeds. What You’ll Do Edit raw UGC and influencer footage into platform‑ready ad cuts for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shoot original product, lifestyle, and BTS content with DSLR/mirrorless cameras — and help direct talent on set when needed Design static creative for paid social — single‑image ads, carousels, billboards, and banner units Build assigned organic social posts from scratch — concept, shoot, edit, design — partnering with our Organic Social Strategist and internal creative leadership on direction & approvals Build motion graphics and animated ad concepts (kinetic type, product demos, transitions, light VFX) Design web sections, landing pages, and more — handing off cleanly to our dev team or building directly when the tool allows Concept and storyboard new campaign ideas Maintain brand consistency across every output while pushing creative experimentation in advertising Move fast — we ship dozens of creative tests every month and read the results carefully What We’re Looking For This is a mid‑level role. We’re guiding around 2 years of experience in a multi‑disciplinary creative seat (in‑house, agency, freelance, or any combination), but it’s not a hard requirement. Strong portfolios and an amazing work ethic are valued here. What matters A real multi‑tool fluency: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) and/or equivalents (Figma, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve) Design sensibility — clean typography, intentional layout, brand‑aware color, and a strong eye for hierarchy Camera comfort — DSLR or mirrorless shooting, basic lighting set‑ups, audio capture Video editing chops — feel for pacing, hooks, and platform‑native rhythm Native, in‑app editing proficiency (like TikTok editor) Web design basics — able to layout web designs in software of choice. Direct Shopify experience is a plus Organic social literacy — feel for what reads as native (not an ad) on Instagram, TikTok, and Reels, and the ability to take a brief from a strategist and turn it into a post that earns attention on its own Organized, fast, and detail‑oriented — you can juggle four projects across four mediums in a week without losing quality A portfolio that shows range, not just one style Bonus Points For Past DTC, e‑commerce, or CPG creative experience Photography background (product or lifestyle) Direct experience editing influencer/UGC content for paid social Hands‑on experience producing or contributing to a brand’s organic social presence Open to co‑directing creators/talent on shoots Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, or other DTC stack tools Freelance advertising experience AI prompting skillset — for generative media and more Why This Role Is Worth It You’ll work on a small, ambitious team where your output ships immediately, gets tested in‑market, and gets attributed back to revenue.
