1st Shift Production

Assembly Worker Nesco Resource is looking for assembly workers for our long-term client in Auburn Hills, MI. 1st shift is 5:00 AM- 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position requires you to assist in various activities such as assembly, inspection, and maintaining a clean workspace. General requirements include keeping the work station and the area around work station neat and orderly, understanding and following all quality instructions, work instructions, and procedures, accurately and legibly recording information on quality and production-related paperwork, understanding and properly using all safety devices and equipment at all times, capable of working as part of a team and a commitment to support group decisions, and understanding and following the principles and procedures of the company's Quality Policy. Skill requirements include assembling metal products, partially or entirely, working a bench or on the shop floor, fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners, removing small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce a close fit between parts, operating machine at production standard, inspecting parts, sweeping floors, mopping around machines, and cleaning up immediate spills. Removing trash. Physical demands include using hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk. Occasionally required to talk or hear lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment includes being regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
