Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVOR position specializing in vascular and endovascular procedures, requiring a CO or Compact RN license and prior endovascular/vascular OR experience.

Details

• Work in the CVOR unit focused on vascular and endovascular surgery (no cardiothoracic)
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday 0630-1500, with potential for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 0630-1900
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses Epic for charting
• Blue scrub color required
• Floating to general OR required per unit needs
• On-call required 1-2 times per week
• Rotating weekend requirement every 4th weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 1 year of endovascular/vascular OR experience required
• General OR experience preferred to support additional specialties
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Vascular surgical skills required including AAA repair, AV fistula repair, carotid endarterectomy, EVAR, femoral popliteal bypass graft, and vascular surgery scrubbing
• TEVAR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide scrub support for open and endovascular vascular procedures, assisting with additional specialties as needed when vascular cases are unavailable
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during specified weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
• Previous UCHealth employees (including affiliates) must disclose employment history for eligibility review
• Candidates who completed a full year on assignment with UCHealth OR must wait at least one year before rebooking
