We are looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a manufacturing organization supporting customers across the Americas from Rosemont, Illinois. This Long-term Contract position plays an important role in managing orders, addressing inquiries, and helping ensure a smooth experience from initial request through final delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working across teams to solve issues in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee customer orders from initial entry through shipment and delivery, ensuring details are accurate and progress is closely monitored.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns promptly, providing clear updates and working toward effective resolution.
• Maintain and update case information in Salesforce and related business systems so records remain complete and current.
• Partner with internal teams such as sales, logistics, operations, and manufacturing to address service issues and remove order-related obstacles.
• Review order status, shipping activity, and delivery schedules to identify delays and communicate next steps to customers.
• Document customer interactions, order activity, and follow-up actions with a high level of accuracy across internal platforms.
• Provide proactive communication to customers regarding changes, timelines, and solutions that impact their orders.
• Contribute to process and system improvement efforts as the business continues to evolve its customer service operations.• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order processing, order fulfillment, or a similar support function.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced work setting.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to de-escalate concerns and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn new tools, systems, and workflows quickly.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or business-to-business customer support is a plus.
