- Coordinating conference center activities and building operations;
- Serving as the primary point of contact and providing administrative support for faculty;
- Managing calendars and scheduling;
- Processing travel reimbursements;
- Assisting with coordination of faculty Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities and project budgets;
- Supporting departmental activities and events;
- Coordinating project-related communications;
- Assisting with space preparation for new staff and faculty; coordinating front desk coverage operation;
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned by the department manager.
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Management Preferences
- Previous experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment, planning meetings, managing calendars, and problem-solving.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, all while prioritizing competing priorities.
- Ability to exhibit professional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all peers, program-related personnel, and faculty, demonstrating initiative and remaining calm under pressure.
