Structural Engineer

All potential candidates must be local to the Fargo, ND area and/or have direct ties to the state of North Dakota if relocation is required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of construction documents, including drawings and specifications, ensuring adherence to sound structural engineering principles
• Coordinate work with internal and external disciplines, providing technical support, and direction as needed
• Support the business development through proposal input, internal collaboration and creative problem solving
• Create and manage project plans and schedules
• Carry project through completion

Requirements:

• B.S. Engineering/Structural or related field
• PE preferred / EIT required / SE Preferred
• 4+ years of experience in the structural design of building projects
• Familiarity with RISA, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft products are a must
• Professional experience understanding seismic, retrofits, and blast processes desired
• Experience with Government, Educational, Multi-family and Medical Facilities preferred
• Strong communication and influencing skills

This role requires clear communication and management of expectations both internally and externally. The successful candidate will likely quickly rise within the Structural Engineering division.
