As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Day Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as needed. Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting incidents and completing accurate reports. Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally, providing directions, and reporting conditions requiring attention. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
