Job Title: Maintenance Technician
City and State: Marengo
Pay Rate: $25-$35/hr
Schedule/Shift: Onsite, 5 days per week; every other Saturday required; 10–11 hour shifts
Employment Type: Direct Hire!!
Summary:
Responsibilities: - Respond to emergency maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct preventative maintenance including inspections, lubrication, and part replacement to prevent failures.
- Analyze problems using root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
- Support ongoing improvements, maintain 5S standards, and assist with equipment installations and upgrades.
Qualifications: - Experience in industrial maintenance including electrical, HVAC, CNC, or laser systems (CO2/Fiber preferred).
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting (ladder logic experience preferred).
- Familiarity with Mazak and HAAS CNC machines and coating systems (powder or liquid paint).
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus; relevant certifications are preferred.
