¡DNT Construction está contratando varios Obreros Generales para nuestros proyectos de Utilidades Húmedas en el área de Austin! El Departamento de Utilidades Húmedas apoya los sistemas de servicios públicos subterráneos mediante el correcto relleno y compactación de zanjas después de la instalación de tuberías. Requisitos para ser considerado para el puesto:
- Idealmente, tener 1 año de experiencia en un puesto relacionado con la construcción.
- Deseo de aprender y transporte confiable de ida y vuelta al lugar de trabajo.
- Poder aprobar un examen de drogas y verificación de antecedentes previo al empleo.
- Seguro médico, dental y de visión a partir de los 91 días de empleo.
- Tiempo libre pagado (PTO) comienza a acumularse desde el primer día.
- Días festivos seleccionados pagados.
- Plan 401(k) con contribuciones del empleador de hasta un 4% después de 1 año.
- Ayudar en la instalación de utilidades húmedas, incluyendo agua, aguas residuales, drenajes pluviales, sistemas de retención y líneas subterráneas contra incendios.
- Realizar tareas físicas como excavación de zanjas, nivelación, manejo de tuberías y relleno.
- Mantener la limpieza y organización de los sitios de trabajo.
- Operar o asistir con herramientas manuales y maquinaria ligera (por ejemplo, compactadoras, sierras, palas, etc.).
- Apoyar a los operadores de equipo y cuadrillas de tuberías según se indique.
- Cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad y participar en reuniones de seguridad en el sitio de trabajo.
- Ayudar con la instalación y retiro de dispositivos de control de tráfico y señalización de construcción.
- Trabajar en coordinación con los miembros del equipo para completar las tareas diarias según lo programado.
