Weekend requirement: 4–6 shifts every 6 weeks

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts every 13 weeks

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years RN experience

Community hospital experience required

BLS certification

NIHSS certification

EPIC experience preferred

Patient ratio experience: 5 patients

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias as needed.

Manage and administer IV therapy, including blood products and cardiac drips.

Care for patients requiring post-operative support and those with chronic conditions, including CHF and CVA.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Participate in rapid response situations and utilize code teams as required.

Compliance / Notes:

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

Documentation deadline: All documents due 2 Fridays before start date

Pre-start modules: 10–15 hours total, due Monday 1 week prior to start

Labs: Must be completed within 48–72 hours of signing

Infusion pump and glucometer training: Must be completed by the Sunday prior to start
