Competitive Benefits Great Things about McWane Ductile-New Jersey: Medical, Dental, Vision and Company paid Life insurance Family Medical cost as low as $157.68 per month Vacation/PSL & Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Job Description Maintenance Millwright coordinates, participates, assists, constructs, fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains production and operational equipment that includes machines with hydraulic and pneumatic controls as required for the efficient operation and process of producing ductile iron pipe. Pay Rate: $27.54 to $33.43 per hour. All rates are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Maintenance Millwright Responsibilities Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions. Use proper mechanical repair tools and equipment. Repair and rebuild all equipment throughout the plant. Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Dismantle machines. Move machinery and equipment. Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and rails. Construct foundation for machines. Align machines and equipment. Assemble machines and fasten them to foundation or other structures (bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten). Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Preferred 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both. Ability to read schematics; deep knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Must interact with all personnel levels. Must work with others in a professional, supportive manner. Ability to read policies and procedures. Ability to follow all work directives and safety procedures. Must be a motivated self-starter.
