Industrial Equipment Reliability Technician

Day in the life — New Albany, IN 47150

You arrive ready to keep production humming. First up: a quick pass through the lines to confirm yesterday’s preventive checks held steady. A motor sounds a bit off, so you diagnose it before it becomes downtime. Mid-day, a hydraulic circuit needs attention; later, an electrical fault on a panel calls for careful troubleshooting. Throughout the shift, you document every adjustment and repair, keep the work area tidy and safe, and share insights with teammates on how to make the equipment run better tomorrow than it did today.

What you’ll handle

Execute routine service, repairs, and adjustments on industrial machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to reduce unplanned downtime.
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to keep assets at peak performance.
Record maintenance activities and repair details with accuracy and clarity.
Partner with peers to recommend and implement upgrades and process improvements.
Follow safety protocols rigorously while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Help onboard and coach new team members on maintenance methods and safety best practices.

What you bring

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
Hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance technician (or closely related role).
Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and apply technical manuals, prints, and schematics.
Sharp troubleshooting instincts and meticulous attention to detail.
Clear communicator and reliable team contributor.
Flexibility to adjust hours and respond to urgent needs when required.
