Medical Center Business Development Director Applying to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Tampa Medical Center Business Development Director Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Tampa The Medical Center Business Development Director works directly for the Regional VP, Business Development to ensure marketing initiatives are carried out throughout their assigned hospitals. The Medical Center Business Development Director indirectly reports to, and maintains strong working relationships with, all hospital CEOs of their assigned hospitals. This position is responsible for hospital inpatient and outpatient census of multiple hospitals through the design and implementation of referral programs and customer service strategies. This position oversees inpatient admission process. The Medical Center Business Development Director manages, trains and develops hospital-wide Business Development Team and serves in a Senior Leadership role. The Medical Center Business Development Director is responsible in creating an environment and culture that enables the hospitals to fulfill their mission by meeting or exceeding their goals, conveying the hospitals¿ mission to all staff, holding staff accountable for performance, and motivating staff to improve performance. The Medical Center Business Development Director creates an environment and culture that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission by providing patient safety and patient-centered treatment.
