Equipment Manager - Maintenance Facility

Join our team as the Equipment Manager for a newly constructed maintenance facility at a top course in the Metroplex. This position is crucial as our course has undergone a complete renovation in the past 3 years, and you will be responsible for managing a 1.5 million dollar fleet of equipment. As the Equipment Manager, you will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and repair of all course maintenance equipment. You will work closely with the Director of Agronomy and other superintendents to ensure the efficient operation of the maintenance facility. Your responsibilities will include scheduling routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing inventory control systems to track equipment usage. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of equipment operators and technicians, providing guidance and training as needed. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in equipment management within the golf course industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of turf equipment and irrigation systems. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be coordinating with multiple departments to ensure equipment availability. A passion for golf course maintenance and dedication to upholding the highest standards of course care are also key qualities we are seeking.
