Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location: Wellsville, OH

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 2nd shift

What's the Job?

• Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Prepare, fabricate, and modify equipment components as needed
• Install new machinery and equipment to support operational efficiency
• Fit, cut, and install pipe as required for various projects
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of machinery

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, industrial repair, or related trade
• Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, stick preferred)
• Experience with fabrication and shop equipment (grinders, saws, drill press, etc.)
• Ability to fit and work with pipe; pipe-fitting experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lift 50+ lbs
