Grover Precision | Machine Operator I | Oxford, Maine Grover Precision is seeking a Machine Operator I to join its manufacturing team in Oxford, Maine. Job Summary The Machine Operator I role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in manufacturing. This position operates production equipment, supports manufacturing processes, performs quality checks, and helps ensure products are produced safely and efficiently. What We Offer:

Weekly Pay First Shift, Monday-Friday (5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. start) Overtime available, including double-time after 48 hours Opportunity for wage increases and career advancement as skills develop Vacation and Personal/Sick paid time off Paid holidays (including your birthday!) Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Incentive bonus pay based on personal and company performance Annual reimbursement for personal protective equipment Qualifications: 0-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints Basic math skills Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to quality, safety, and production standards Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to learn new machinery and manufacturing processes Responsibilities and Scope: Safely operate at least one production machine or manufacturing cell independently Perform production support activities including material cutting, facing, straightening, drilling, polishing, bore blasting, and inventory handling Track machine time and production activity using the kiosk clocking system Obtain required quality inspections and sign-offs throughout the manufacturing process Monitor production processes and immediately report quality, material, or equipment concerns Ensure assigned jobs are completed within established production standards and timelines Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, and coworkers to maintain efficient workflow between departments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Grover Precision is a precision manufacturing company serving customers in the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.
