Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Fiori / UI5 Consultant to design, develop, enhance, and maintain modern SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5. The consultant will work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver intuitive, responsive, and high-performing user experiences across SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, customize, and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Develop responsive and user-friendly applications following SAP Fiori design principles and UX standards.
Build and consume OData services for integration between SAPUI5 applications and SAP backend systems.
Develop, configure, and extend Fiori Elements applications using annotations and metadata-driven development.
Develop custom SAPUI5 applications using MVC architecture, XML Views, Controllers, Fragments, and JSON Models.
Integrate SAP Fiori applications with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP backend systems.
Configure and deploy applications through SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and SAP Fiori Launchpad.
Work with SAP Gateway, OData, REST APIs, and backend integration components.
Troubleshoot application performance, UI issues, OData errors, authorization issues, and integration problems.
Perform application testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, UX teams, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support SAP Fiori application upgrades, enhancements, migration, and modernization initiatives.
Follow SAP development standards, security guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.
Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to development and support teams.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of SAP development experience with strong hands-on experience in SAP Fiori/UI5.
Strong expertise in SAPUI5 and JavaScript development.
Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, Fiori Launchpad, and Fiori Elements.
Strong knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway.
Experience developing applications using MVC architecture, XML Views, Controllers, Fragments, and Models.
Experience integrating SAPUI5 applications with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and REST APIs.
Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based SAP application development.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori UX guidelines and responsive application design.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or transformations.
Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP BAS, and Cloud Foundry.
Knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) or RAP.
Experience with SAP Fiori Elements templates and advanced annotations.
Experience with SAP Mobile Services or mobile-responsive Fiori applications.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
SAP Fiori/UI5 certification is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
