Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Patient Account Representative responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient account management within Revenue Cycle operations. The role involves ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements and operational efficiency. Collaboration with leadership stakeholders and departmental teams is crucial for maintaining high performance standards and delivering exceptional patient financial experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and direct subordinate supervisors and managers within the patient financial services team.
• Develop and implement policy and procedure recommendations to meet the needs of the Health and Hospital System and its patients.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual Health and Hospital System budget.
• Prepare annual statements of goals and objectives in collaboration with subordinates to meet expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local government, and private industry mandates.
• Analyze and identify Patient Financial Services needs and make recommendations for problem resolution or procedural changes.
• Monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Develop professional and technical skill sets in subordinate staff and create ongoing training materials.

Qualifications

• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6-8+ years of healthcare operations experience.
• 2-3 years in a leadership capacity within Patient Financial Services required.
• Direct supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Advanced Data Synthesis: Ability to synthesize complex data sets to implement recommendations for organizational change.
• Workflow Optimization: Experience in driving standardization and improvement initiatives across health system environments.
• Change Management: Ability to lead through transitions, such as moving to a managed services/outsourced model.
• Collaborative Influence: Ability to influence key stakeholders and client-side and internal senior leadership.
