Job Description
Kitchen Team — Dishwasher, Line Cook & Shift Lead
Columbia, IL | Top Shooters
Who We Are
Top Shooters is one of the busiest bars and restaurants around. We’re slammed at lunch, packed on league nights, and busy all weekend. It’s fast, it’s loud, and the crew has each other’s backs.
Never worked in a kitchen? We’ll teach you. Already know your way around a line? We’ve got room for you to move up.
What We’re Hiring For
Dishwasher (no experience needed)
Keep the dishes moving, keep the dish pit clean, take out trash, restock, and help with prep when we need it. Without dish, the whole kitchen stops, so this job matters. It’s also how a lot of our cooks got their start.
Line Cook (no experience needed, we’ll train you)
Cook our menu the right way, fast. Keep your station stocked and clean, follow the recipes, and work with the team to get food out during the rush.
Shift Lead (kitchen experience preferred)
Open and close the kitchen, run the line during service, train new cooks, check food before it goes out, and make sure waste gets logged before you leave. When it gets crazy, you’re the one keeping it together.
You’ll Fit In If You
- Show up on time and work hard
- Want to learn
- Don’t panic when it gets busy
- Bring a good attitude and help your team out
- Are 16 or older
What You Get
- Dishwasher: $15-16/hour
- Line Cook: $16-18/hour
- Shift Lead: $18-20/hour
- A chance at a raise every year based on performance
- Paid time off (part-time too)
- Employee discounts
- Employee Scholarship opportunities
- Your schedule posted at least 2 weeks ahead
- A real path to move up: dish → line → shift lead
Schedule
- Part-time and full-time
- Day, night, and weekend shifts; weekend availability required
- Flexible around school
