Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit
• Assess patients upon admission and continuously throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses accurately
• Serve in charge nurse and preceptor roles when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing — no hits or actions on license or background
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
• At least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Must not be a previous employee of the hiring facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or full-spectrum emergency care environment
• Prior experience in a Chest Pain Center or cardiac-focused emergency setting
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in charge nurse or preceptor capacities
