SAP S/4HANA FICO Lead Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Lead Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise Finance and Controlling solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP FICO modules, SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments.

This role requires strong client-facing consulting skills, the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, and willingness to travel up to 50% to project locations in Michigan, Iowa, and Missouri.

Duration: 8 Months

Duties:

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

• Configure and support SAP FICO modules, including:

• General Ledger (GL)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Accounts Payable (AP)

• Fixed Assets (FA)

• Product Costing

• Profit Center Accounting

• Cost Center Accounting

• Internal Orders

• Provide expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and revenue recognition processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions across SAP modules.

• Support financial process optimization and recommend best practices.

• Lead workshops, solution reviews, testing activities, and end-user training sessions.

• Ensure successful project delivery through all phases of the implementation lifecycle.

• Travel up to 50% to Iron Mountain, MI; Des Moines, IA; and Cuba, MO.

Skills:

• Expert-level SAP S/4HANA FICO configuration and implementation experience.

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes.

• Experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).

• Understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial compliance requirements.

• Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.

• SAP Project Systems (PS) integration experience preferred.

• Strong business process analysis and solution design capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.

• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

Experience:

• 8+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.

• Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.

• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation initiatives.

• Experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments.

• Experience with revenue recognition and complex financial reporting processes.

• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions in client-facing consulting roles.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project deliverables.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.
