Salary: $90,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- We prefer an advanced degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or 5–7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- We look for understanding of EDI common standards and data mapping.
- We value familiarity with widely used technical concepts, practices, and procedures within SAP.
- We expect a strong understanding of SAP PI/PO functionality and architecture.
- We need the ability to prepare technical specifications from functional requirements.
- We value proven problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
- We translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex technical concepts in clear business language.
- We design and build technical solutions that align with established standards and business needs.
- We perform root cause analysis on application issues, implement durable fixes, and document resolutions for the support knowledge base.
- We assess current system capabilities, recommend changes, and evaluate business impact.
- We partner with stakeholders to align on technical solutions before implementation.
- We keep technical documentation accurate and current as changes are made.
- We test technical changes and support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing with business system analysts.
- We monitor and optimize ABAP programs using tools such as Runtime Analysis, Code Inspector, SQL Trace, and System Log.
- We design overall system architecture and develop prototypes for major components.
- We follow DONs methods, standards, and policies for system development and operations.

In this role, we work with minimal supervision, provide expert technical guidance, and offer leadership, mentoring, and support to the application development team. This is a hybrid/remote position requiring onsite work three times per week and work from home two days per week.
