Job Title & Location Gate Security Officer - Clearance Eligibility – El Segundo, CA Job Description As a Gate Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Joining Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role you support daily operations with professionalism, agility, and integrity while working as part of a reliable, innovative team that puts people first. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Thu 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
