SQL DBA

Overview We are seeking a SQL DBA with 2-5 years of professional working experience as a Microsoft SQL DBA and a strong background in cloud engineering, particularly with AWS services. In this role, you will lead the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS, focusing on the initial planning phases for a modern DevOps architecture while managing legacy systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing MS SQL Server instances, applying patches, and troubleshooting integrations from a client services perspective. Oversee MS SQL Server instances, apply patches, monitor performance, and troubleshoot integrations from a client services perspective. Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to optimize cloud solutions and ensure reliability and security of database services. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information & Technology, or equivalent professional experience. 2-5 years of professional experience with cloud or on-premises Microsoft SQL Administration (MS SQL DBA). 2-5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS services. AWS SQL/RDS experience (3 years). In-depth knowledge of AWS services, such as SQL/RDS, Lambda, S3, VPCs, CloudWatch. Good communication skills with the ability to write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python or Java. ETL process experience.
