Participate in the execution of external audit engagements of various clients, including investment funds subject to the SEC Custody Rule and their respective investment advisors. Review regulatory filings and research technical accounting issues. Evaluate financial statement presentations and disclosures for unitized and non-unitized legal entity structures inclusive of U.S. and offshore domiciled hedge, venture capital, and private equity funds under U.S. GAAP. Review valuations of financial instruments, including SWAP agreements, CFDs, forward and futures contracts, and other derivative products. Evaluate private capital valuation methodologies, including market approach, income approach, and cost approach.
