Provide essential care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered services in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure care plans are accurately followed.
- Comply with facility policies regarding identification and badge requirements, and uphold COVID-19 vaccination and exemption policies.
- Valid CNA certification in good standing.
- Active CNA license or registration in the state.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and patience when interacting with residents.
- Proven ability to follow detailed care plans and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Willingness to adhere to facility policies regarding vaccination and identification.
