Position Title: Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11212

Duration: 13 weeks to perm

Work Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the behavioral health unit in collaboration with the Director
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including NYSDOH and JCAHO
• Oversee patient care, admissions, discharges, and clinical performance improvement
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction
• Manage staff performance, budgeting, and unit operations
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with state and city health agencies
• Provide leadership coverage and support for nursing administration as needed

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience
• Minimum 5 years of psychiatric clinical experience
• At least 2 years in a leadership/management role
• Must have experience managing a psych unit in a hospital setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Education & Certification:

• Required: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Crisis Management (PMCS/TRUST)
