Facility: UnityPoint Health – St. Luke's Downtown
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Unit: 8SE Surgery – Urology
Pay: $2,500 per week gross
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: No call
EMR: Epic

Position Overview

Join UnityPoint Health – St. Luke's Downtown for a 13-week travel RN assignment on the 8SE Surgery/Urology unit. This Med-Surg/Telemetry role provides care to medical-surgical and postoperative patients, including those recovering from prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgery, thyroidectomy, and other procedures. Nurses must be flexible to float to other Med-Surg/Telemetry units as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Active Iowa RN license or compact license valid for Iowa
• Active BLS certification
• Active NIHSS certification
• Med-Surg/Telemetry skills checklist
• One supervisory reference completed within the last two years
• Updated work history and driver's license
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome

Additional Details

• Orientation options: October 26 or November 9, 2026
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Limited time-off requests during designated holiday periods
• EPIC experience preferred
• Sioux City is a Level III Trauma Center
