Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our clinical operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting therapeutic sessions with couples and individuals, focused on their unique needs and relationship dynamics. Specializing in various challenges such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and difficulties associated with blended families. Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to facilitate client progress and improve overall mental health. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan that encompasses the whole family. Documenting client interactions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will include diverse populations, ranging from children and adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges related to family dynamics, trauma, and mental health. You will provide a compassionate and nurturing environment where clients feel safe to explore issues such as communication difficulties, job stress, and adjustment to separation or divorce. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and clinical excellence in therapy practices. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give candidates an advantage in the selection process: Experience working with family systems and the unique challenges they face. Proficient understanding of various therapeutic methodologies and techniques pertinent to family therapy. A track record of effective patient engagement and successful therapeutic outcomes. Flexibility in availability, with a willingness to offer a minimum of 30 hours a week. Compensation and Benefits Family Unity Counseling offers a competitive compensation structure ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
