Benefits: Bonus based on performance Company car Flexible schedule Free uniforms Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Job Type: Full-Time Department: Service Reports To: Owner/Operator and/or Service Manager Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site and roadside diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, no-start conditions, and maintenance on commercial light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment throughout the Greater Phoenix Area. Perform scheduled fleet maintenance services including oil changes, inspections, tire rotations, fluid checks, brakes, filter changes, general preventative maintenance, etc. Communicate with customers, maintain professionalism in the field, and accurately document work completed. Work on light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel/gas vehicles and equipment Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $28-$45 per hour based on experience Additional benefits include: Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half Performance bonuses Paid time off (PTO) Take-home company service truck provided Fuel expenses covered while traveling for work Uniform provided About The Job DuraFleet is seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Mobile Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our growing team to perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and roadside assistance for commercial customers throughout the Greater Phoenix Area. This is an independent field position for someone who can diagnose problems, work without constant supervision, manage daily assignments and priorities, and handle a variety of repairs in the field. Work Schedule Full-time position After-hours roadside and service calls may be required with overtime opportunities Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of automotive, fleet, diesel, or commercial vehicle repair experience preferred. Strong experience with the following: brakes & suspension systems, electrical systems, no-start conditions, engine-related concerns, general mechanical failures, and includes the ability to utilize diagnostic tools accurately and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members. Ability to work independently Must provide your own hand tools. Preferred Qualifications Previous mobile fleet mechanic or roadside repair experience ASE certifications. HVAC experience and/or willingness to obtain required A/C certifications (609 certification required before performing A/C work independently).
