Seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a 140-unit affordable senior housing community. This position supports the Property Manager with daily operations, HUD compliance, resident relations, and community services.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain resident files, waitlists, and emergency contacts
• Assist with applications, leases, inspections, move-ins, and move-outs
• Support annual and interim HUD recertifications
• Respond to resident, applicant, and vendor inquiries
• Enter and follow up on maintenance requests
• Connect senior residents with community resources and services
• Oversee property operations when the Property Manager is unavailable

Qualifications:

• Three or more years of property management experience
• HUD Project-Based Section 8 experience preferred
• Knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3 and Fair Housing
• Certified Occupancy Specialist preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication, organization, and resident-service skills
