Why You'll Love This Role: Every sprinkler system we build starts with an estimate. As Fire Sprinkler Estimator for our Vancouver, WA office, you'll turn plans and specs into accurate, competitive bids that win work and set our projects up to succeed. You'll partner with designers, project managers, and field leaders, and you'll build relationships with the general contractors and owners who hire us. If you know sprinkler systems, enjoy the detail of a good takeoff, and like seeing a bid become a building, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Bid Review and Qualification: Monitor bid boards and GC invitations; review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to qualify opportunities that fit our scope and capacity.
• Layouts and Takeoffs: Develop layouts and material takeoffs for all phases of new construction, remodels, and tenant improvements.
• Proposals: Prepare clear, competitive proposals with scope narratives, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications; submit on time and follow up with customers through award.
• Project Handoff: Hand awarded work to project management and field leadership with a clear scope summary and customer expectations.
• Cost Data and Vendor Pricing: Maintain historical cost data, labor units, and vendor and subcontractor quotes; compare estimated versus actual costs on completed jobs to sharpen future bids.
• Project Support: Support projects as needed through design and construction, including plan review, quality control, and change order pricing.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree in Construction Management, Fire Protection, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience: 3+ years of fire sprinkler estimating, or 5+ years of combined sprinkler design, installation, project management, and estimating experience
• Certifications: NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout
• Availability: Full-time in-office, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• Compliance: Drug screening and background checks will only be conducted after a conditional job offer is made. We evaluate criminal history based on its relevance to the job duties.
• Pay: $80,000 - $140,000 per year including incentive opportunities; pay depends on experience and qualifications

Perks of Joining Our Team:

• Competitive Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match
• Professional Development: Company-paid NICET testing, ongoing training, and career advancement opportunities
• Collaborative Environment: Work with a supportive and enthusiastic team dedicated to excellence
• Impactful Work: Win the projects that protect lives and property across our region
