Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position requiring at least 2 years of MS or IMCU experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• , within a hospital setting,
• , providing care within a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit
• Cares for a diverse patient population including stroke, cardiac (preferably cardiac drips), post-op (ortho, GU, GYN, gen surg, etc), and general medical patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May require floating within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MS or IMCU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide adaptable nursing care across a wide variety of patient conditions and post-surgical needs
• Must reside within the facility's designated radius to qualify for the full travel rate, though local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
