Laundry Lead

Laundry Lead Responsible for leading laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens to ensure all facilities are consistently stocked and guest-ready. This role leads laundry staff to complete work efficiently, safely, and with excellent internal customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operations & Facility Readiness Lead daily laundry operations to ensure timely processing of linens for cabins, meeting spaces, and departments Coordinate linen distribution, inventory levels, and par stock to support guest readiness Support room turnovers and seasonal transitions through timely linen availability Monitor and maintain organization of laundry workflow from intake to distribution Laundry Operations & Equipment Operate and oversee washing, drying, folding, and sorting of linens and laundry items Ensure proper use of chemicals, detergents, and equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of laundry equipment; report repair needs promptly Leadership & Team Coordination Lead and support laundry staff in daily operations Assign, prioritize, and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion Provide training, guidance, and quality checks on linen standards and processes Support high-demand turnover days and urgent operational needs Communication, Safety & Support Communicate clearly with housekeeping, accommodations, and other departments regarding linen needs and priorities Report equipment issues, supply needs, and operational concerns through proper channels Ensure safe work practices, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment Maintain organized workspaces, inventory areas, and supply rooms Provide excellent internal customer service to staff and departments Support staff spiritual life activities and perform other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2+ year experience in housekeeping or Laundry preferred.
