Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a meat processing plant in Hialeah. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations. salary: $58,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

● Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment, including meat processing and packaging machinery.
● Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
● Install, align, and set up new equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
● Diagnose issues using blueprints, diagrams, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
● Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety protocols.
● Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
● Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and prevent future malfunctions.
● Perform welding, fabricating, and machining tasks as necessary for equipment repair

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
