Environmental Specialist IV
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for PCB assessment and remediation projects, Brownfields projects, Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental site assessments, and various remediation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for PCB assessment and remediation program.
- Provide technical expertise in environmental due diligence and Brownfields.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or other related field of study
- Experience with due diligence Phase 1 and Phase 2
- Experience working in environmental regulatory programs in North and South Carolina
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior TSCA experience, specifically 761.61
- Prior experience with North and South Carolina Brownfields Programs
- Prior work experience with substation operations
Working Conditions:
- Virtual employment with extensive computer use
- Occasional work in a power plant or field environment with exposure to all types of weather
- Occasional mildly strenuous physical activity (extensive walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs/ladders, etc.)
- Occasional overtime work
