Associate Business Analyst

Overview Associate Business Analyst – The Associate Business Analyst provides regional support for analytic and administrative activities related to the sales function of the RSP team. Works closely with Customer Development Managers, Business Development Managers, Department Managers, and other support personnel to achieve mutual objectives. Responsibilities Create and analyze sales tracking reports and scorecards using data from internal and client reports and external sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI data) as applicable. Assist in creating dynamic sales presentations. Interact with customers in a professional manner to achieve client objectives. Finance: invoice processing, analysis and preparation of Excel invoices, and PNET – invoice matching and PO requisitions. New vendor setups, may include new vendor processing. Research, proactive follow-up, and problem-solving for account management issues. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent job-related experience. Understanding of Gen Web reporting system preferred but not required. Analytical ability to identify trends is a plus. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers. Analytical, mathematical, well-organized and detail-oriented. Good written and verbal communication skills. Note: This position will remain open until filled. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Analytics: Create and analyze sales tracking reports and scorecards using internal, client, and external data (e.g., Nielsen and IRI). Assist in creating dynamic sales presentations. Interact with customers professionally to achieve client objectives. Financial Invoice processing and analysis of Excel invoices. New vendor setups, may include new vendor processing. Research, proactive follow-up, and problem-solving for account management issues. PNET – invoice matching and PO requisitions. Other Perform other duties as required. Additional Information Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities for direct or indirect reports. Travel Travel and driving are not essential duties or functions of this job. Minimum Qualifications The following are minimum job-related qualifications to perform the essential duties and responsibilities: Education: High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience. Preferred: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. Field of Study/Experience: Understanding of Gen Web reporting system preferred but not required. Skills: Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, web browsers); analytical and mathematical ability; well-organized and detail-oriented; good written and verbal communication. Environment & Physical Requirements Office/sedentary work environment. Typical requirements include ability to sit for extended periods, hear on the telephone, enter data, and lift up to 10 pounds.
