This role is based in the Overland Park, KS office and serves both organizations, giving you broad exposure across two distinct but complementary software businesses. The Opportunity Nextworld is looking for an IT Analyst 1 to join our team based out of the Overland Park, KS office. IT at Nextworld is a shared services function, meaning this role directly supports both Nextworld and Cloud Inventory. You’ll be the front‑line resource for end‑user technical support across both organizations, keeping systems running and people productive. What You Will Do System Support & Maintenance (60%) Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure availability and security Provide end‑user support, resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner Technology Analysis & Improvement (15%) Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement Recommend and implement solutions to optimize IT operations and enhance productivity Research and evaluate new technologies to support organizational goals Security & Compliance (10%) Assist in maintaining IT security standards, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable data protection regulations Participate in risk assessments and help implement mitigation measures Collaboration & Documentation (10%) Partner with business units to understand requirements and provide technical solutions Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures Assist in training employees on IT systems, policies, and best practices Project Support (5%) Contribute to IT‑related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and procurement Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes Why Nextworld At Nextworld, culture is not wallpaper. Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 per year Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Short-Term Disability: Company‑paid; 60% of base earnings, up to $2,500/week, for up to 12 weeks. Long-Term Disability: Company‑paid; 60% of base earnings, up to $10,000/month, through Social Security Normal Retirement Age. Basic Life & AD&D: $50,000 policy at no cost to the team member.
