This full-time opportunity spans the entire academic year—beginning late August and concluding in late June—and is ideal for an experienced elementary-level Special Education Teacher eager to make a daily impact with students in grades K–2.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education License with an endorsement in Cognitively Impaired (CI) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), or willingness to obtain and maintain certification annually
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged children in a special education setting
• Strong collaborative, communication, and organization skills
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to meeting each student's unique needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and abilities
• Provide direct instruction to students with cognitive impairments in grades K–2
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Monitor student progress, modify activities as needed, and maintain detailed records
• Support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic growth within a safe, engaging classroom environment
• Participate in required professional development and maintain necessary certifications
