Construction Field SuperintendentOur client, a leading aerospace manufacturer and spaceflight services company, is currently recruiting for a Construction Field Superintendent to join their innovative and rapidly growing team.We are seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities. The Field Superintendent is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact between field crews, subcontractors, project management, and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate all day-to-day field operations and construction activitiesSupervise subcontractors, trade crews, and field personnel to ensure work aligns with project plans and specificationsDevelop, monitor, and maintain project schedules; identify and resolve delays proactivelyEnforce all safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policiesConduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to specificationsCoordinate material deliveries, equipment logistics, and resource allocationReview and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsMaintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of site activitiesCollaborate with Project Managers on budgets, change orders, and schedulingResolve on-site issues, conflicts, and unforeseen challenges in a timely mannerEnsure quality control standards are met through inspections and testingCommunicate regularly with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectorsManage punch lists and oversee project closeout activitiesRequired:5+ years of construction supervision experience (commercial, industrial, or relevant sector)Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specificationsOSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)Proven leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldExperience with large-scale or complex projectsFirst Aid/CPR certificationPhysical Requirements:Ability to work on active construction sites in various weather conditionsCapable of walking, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbsFrequent site visits requiring mobility across uneven terrainWork EnvironmentThis position is based primarily on active construction job sites, with occasional office work. Standard hours may extend based on project demands, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
