PRN CT Technologist

This role involves providing safe, high-quality imaging services through a variety of diagnostic procedures, primarily in radiology and computed tomography (CT). Responsibilities include verifying orders, obtaining patient history, preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate, clinically acceptable images. Perform pre- and post-procedure care, administer contrast media, and respond to emergency situations while maintaining patient comfort and privacy. Operate equipment safely, adjust techniques for minimal radiation exposure, and report equipment issues promptly. Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures to ease anxiety, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain documentation, follow quality control standards, and adhere to regulatory and safety protocols. Assist with departmental support tasks like restocking supplies, transporting patients, and supporting team training. Require minimum one year of radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and strong communication, technical, and patient care skills.
