Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of authorized administrators mentors shall: Provide students who are enrolled in The Westfield Promise program and dual enrollment academic support, including English Language Learners Will work with the WHS Career Center. Report student progress to administration Interpret student data and help assess academic needs of students Assist students with online school work as needed Provide transportation to students as part of the Westfield Promise Program TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Must be available during the school day (7:05 a.m. - 1:50 p.m.)
• Approximate dates of employment: immediately - June 23, 2027 (pending funding)
• 19 hours per week, without benefits. $36 per hour
• This position subject to grant funding. REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Administrator of Student Interventions EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Westfield Public School evaluation and observations from the High School Principal/Vice Principals and Administrator of Student Interventions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Massachusetts DESE certification and experience in teaching/tutoring preferred
• Must have a valid and current MA driver's license.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
